This is a challenging time for our community and a complicated period for healthcare. We want you to know that we are here for you during this time. In an effort to create a safe and healthy environment for everyone, we ask the following:
Please do not come to the office if you are experiencing symptoms such as: fever, cough, runny nose or body aches. Call us and we will direct you to appropriate care. There are several testing centers in our community.
Please do not bring any companions with you to visits who are experiencing symptoms.
If you have any concerns about scheduling a visit, please call us. We are happy to discuss the parameters of your visit and we will make sure that you can be seen in a comfortable and safe manner.
The State of Illinois has mandated the wearing of masks in all healthcare settings. They define healthcare settings as not only hospitals and clinics but anyplace where healthcare is provided. This means we are required to wear masks in all three of our offices. We will follow the laws as necessary and apologize for any discomfort/inconvenience this may cause.
There may be changes to the flow of patients through Lutheran General hospital. At time of Covid 19 surge, the hospital will direct you to enter through certain doorways, restrict the visitors you may bring to your appointments and ask you screening questions upon entry to the hospital. If Covid 19 numbers are low, these restrictions are not in place. You can also schedule an appointment at our Third Lake office. There are no changes to patient flow at this office. Telehealth visits are available. We are also seeing patients at our Deer Park office.
We want you to know that we are here to assist you during this difficult time. We are available by phone during business hours. You may also contact the on call doctor after hours, or for emergencies, as per usual. Information regarding this pandemic is changing rapidly and we are striving to keep abreast of all developments. Please bear with us as we adjust to the rapidly changing situation.
Our primary goal is to protect the safety of our patients and staff while continuing to provide care. We are so lucky to work with our amazing community of physicians, nurses, healthcare providers and patients. We will get through this together.
