Alla Bodner MD, F.A.C.S., F.A.C.O.G.

Dr. Bodner joined Women’s Health Specialists in 2017. A North Shore native, she feels fortunate to care for patients in the same community where she was raised and is now raising her own family. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Lake Forest College and her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine, then completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago, and has subsequently earned her board certification in 2015. Alongside her clinical practice, Dr. Bodner is an Associate Professor at Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University, where she teaches and mentors future physicians.

Dr. Bodner specializes in minimally invasive surgery, including advanced laparoscopic procedures and the use of the DaVinci robotic system. With over a decade of hands-on experience with DaVinci robotic technology, she offers surgical options that allow for smaller incisions, less discomfort, faster recovery times, and shorter hospital stays compared to traditional surgery. She is committed to giving patients the most effective and least disruptive treatment options available.

Dr. Bodner has a strong focus on hormone therapy for women and works closely with patients to find individualized solutions that improve quality of life. She is deeply passionate about family planning and enjoys caring for patients through every stage of their reproductive health journey.

Dr. Bodner lives in Northbrook with her husband, their four children, and two dogs.
