This is a challenging time for our community and a complicated period for healthcare. We want you to know that we are here for you during this time.
We are continuing to see patients in the office, and will do so for as long as we are able. In an effort to create a safe and healthy environment for everyone, we ask the following:
Please do not come to the office if you are experiencing symptoms such as: fever, cough, runny nose or body aches. Call us and we will direct you to appropriate care. There are several testing centers in our community.
Please do not bring any companions with you to visits unless it is a scheduled ultrasound visit for pregnant patients, a scheduled procedure, or you require a companion for assistance/translation. Minors can bring a parent or guardian.
If you have any concerns about scheduling a visit, please call us. We are happy to discuss the parameters of your visit and we will make sure that you can be seen in a comfortable and safe manner.
Recently, there have been changes to patient flow at Lutheran General Hospital. Lutheran General Hospital is allowing NO children under 18 to enter the building. The valet parking in front of Parkside is open. All patients must enter through the main entrance of the hospital. Patients are being screened and given a badge. Lines have been observed at the entrance, so please allow extra time prior to your appointment. If you wish to avoid this, you are welcome to schedule an appointment at our Third Lake office. There are no changes to patient flow at this office. We are also working on telehealth visits and will share news regarding this as it becomes available.
We want you to know that we are here to assist you during this difficult time. We are available by phone during business hours. You may also contact the on call doctor after hours, or for emergencies, as per usual. Information regarding this pandemic is changing rapidly and we are striving to keep abreast of all developments. Please bear with us as we adjust to the rapidly changing situation.
Our primary goal is to protect the safety of our patients and staff while continuing to provide care. We are so lucky to work with our amazing community of physicians, nurses, healthcare providers and patients. We will get through this together.
